1. Course offer:

BassAcademy.com® is entitled to change and adapt the offer. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products and / or services offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to enable the consumer to make a proper assessment of the offer. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding for BassAcademy.com®. All images, specifications, data in the offer are an indication and cannot give rise to compensation or termination of the agreement.

2. Prices:

All prices are subject to printing and typesetting errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of printing and typesetting errors. In the event of printing and typing errors, BassAcademy.com® is not obliged to deliver the product or service according to the incorrect price.

3. 21 years and older, 21% VAT:

Music education for students of 21 years and older is legally taxed with 21% VAT. Schools and educational institutions are exempt from VAT. BassAcademy.com® calculates the purchase date as the reference date, because the lessons will start quickly and the duration is short. When ordering, the buyer is ultimately responsible for honestly selecting the age of the person who will attend the classes. In case of doubt, BassAcademy.com® and the teacher also reserve the right to ask the consumer to show proof of identity at the start of the lessons / workshop.

4. Purchase via webshop:

The purchase of a private master class package / workshop online for a minor consumer is done by a parent or guardian. Payments are always made online. It is hereby obliged to accept the general terms and conditions of BassAcademy.com®. Consumers receive a payment confirmation and invoice by e-mail after every purchase.

5. Right of withdrawal

The law stipulates that exclusion of the right of withdrawal (reflection period of 14 days for online purchases) is only possible for services relating to leisure activities to be performed on a certain date or during a certain period. Because BassAcademy.com® offers services with a validity period as products and provides workshops on a specific date, the right of withdrawal and refund of tuition or workshop fees do not apply. For each product, the consumer must first agree to this before the order can be placed.

6. Validity period:

The validity period is stated with the product (lesson package / coaching / participation in masterclass / workshop). The purchased product must be redeemed within this period. This period starts on the day of purchase. For a workshop, the date on which the service is provided is further agreed by the consumer and BassAcademy.com®.

7. Placement with teacher:

After purchasing a lesson package, the teacher contacts the consumer / student and in consultation the purchased time (lesson package) is divided into lessons. BassAcademy.com® works with freelance teachers. These experts are deployed flexibly.

After purchasing a workshop / coaching, BassAcademy.com®will first contact you to set a date for the workshop and to discuss any wishes. If delivery of an ordered teaching package / workshop / coaching proves to be impossible, BassAcademy.com®will endeavor to make a replacement teaching package available or to find an alternative date.

8. Locations:

Most of our teachers will teach in their own studio at home. It is also possible to arrange lessons online. A flexible combination is common. Masterclasses will be organized at specific locations.

9. Private master classes:

The private master classes are individual (1 on 1) unless stated otherwise in the lesson package.

10. Course content:

BassAcademy.com® stands for innovative and high-quality music education. The bass teachers are experienced. BassAcademy.com®is not responsible for the lesson content, didactics and methodology. We trust on the craftsmanship and expertise of our teachers.

11. Customer Satisfaction and Quality Guarantee:

BassAcademy.com® stands for innovative and high-quality music education. We are constantly looking for enthusiastic and inspiring teachers, coaches and workshop leaders who want to transfer the musical passion for us on a freelance basis. BassAcademy.com® reserves the right to ask the consumer in the meantime about the experience and state of affairs regarding the music lessons in the context of customer satisfaction and quality guarantee.

12. Lesson appointment and cancellation:

If the student arrives late for the (online) private master classes, the expired lesson time will be borne by the student. In that case, the lost time cannot be made up for, regardless of the reason for arriving late. Lessons can be rescheduled by the consumer. This must be done 24 hours before the start of the lesson time, which applies to every lesson appointment. Lessons that are canceled later than 24 hours can - regardless of the reason - no longer be made up and are therefore borne by the consumer. A lesson can only be rescheduled once (free of charge) per lesson package.

In the event that the teacher has to cancel a lesson due to foreseen or unforeseen circumstances, the lesson will be caught up as soon as possible. BassAcademy.com® reserves the right to have the missed or remaining lessons given by a replacement teacher. The consumer cannot derive any financial rights from this proposal.

13. Cancellation of coaching, participation in master classes and workshops:

Cancellation valid for all products and services must be made 24 hours before the start. There is no right to a refund for masterclasses. For coaching and workshops, a new date will be set as soon as possible and within 4 weeks at the latest. In case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment, the right to a new appointment expires. Travel and other costs already incurred by BassAcademy.com®and / or the teacher are also for the account of the consumer.

14. Termination and refund of lesson package:

With purchased lesson packages, the right to a refund lapses regardless of the reason for not (any longer) wanting to / being able to follow the lesson (s). In special cases, BassAcademy.com® reserves the right to unilaterally cancel a teaching package. This is the case when the pupil shows annoying behavior towards fellow students and / or teacher (s), disruption of the lesson, destruction and / or theft of the property of others and / or aggressive or transgressive behavior. Refund of tuition is not possible in this case.

15. Transfer of credit for private master classes:

If a lesson package has been purchased, the person for whom the lessons are intended can still change. Please note: with a lesson package that is exempt from VAT (<21 years old), the lessons may of course not be taken by a person of 21 years and older. Once the first lesson has been taken, a transfer to someone else is no longer possible. The teacher counts on the same student in his / her lesson preparation.
